What's new in Eventee: User management, improved Networking, and more

Introducing the latest Eventee updates and things we are excited about this month.

Hai Yen Luong

Welcome to another exciting edition of the Eventee Newsletter! We’re thrilled to announce a series of Eventee updates our team has been working on the previous month. You can look forward to improvements to both administration and attendee apps.

Let’s dive right into the introduction of what we’ve rolled out!

💪 Event administration: Better management and control

New User management

We’ve introduced a brand-new Users interface that simplifies how you manage your teams and attendees. Now, you can easily import attendees with additional information in bulk, either from file or manually. Eventee then creates individual attendee profiles from data you provided. The information about the status of each attendee helps you keep track of who you've sent invitations to, who has registered, whose email is invalid, etc.

You can select an individual attendee or a group of attendees and:

  • send them invitations or reminders to join your event in Eventee (you can customize the message of both invitations and reminders in tab Branding)
  • export them to CSV, XLSX, or XLS
  • change their role to admin or moderator

Watch the short walkthrough video below to see how it all works.

Partners import

Save time by importing sponsors and exhibitors in bulk through a simple file upload.

Session reviews

Live feedback is one of the most popular features of Eventee. Allowing attendees to give feedback right after each session significantly increases the chance of responses. Learn how much attendees enjoyed your event content and use their feedback to enhance your future events.

We understand that every event is unique, so with the latest Eventee update, you can decide on how you'd like to collect feedback from your attendees. Find the settings in Settings, tab Features.

You can show or hide session reviews of attendees on the app. Hiding them will still allow attendees to give you feedback, they just won’t be able to see other attendees’ reviews.

If you don’t want attendees to share feedback, you can turn session reviews off completely.

📱 Attendee apps: Enhanced Networking and usability

Networking improvements

Lately, we have been gearing up for a significant transformation in our Networking feature, and today, we are thrilled to finally present you the first part of this exciting release.

New filters for attendees’ networks: Attendees can now easily navigate through their networks with new categories - All connections, Active connections, and New connections.

Search My network: Attendees can search their own networks and quickly find contacts by their names, positions, companies, or information in bios.

Attendee information in chat: Each contact in the chat window now displays the position and company of the attendee, making it instantly clear who you're speaking with.

Now, attendees can easily manage, navigate, and engage with their professional network during the event. But there is more, so stay tuned for the second wave of improvements. Archiving and pinning contacts, possibility to unmatch with someone, and more!

Session deep links for easy sharing

Attendees can newly share direct links to specific sessions on the app. This feature makes it easy to invite others to join a session or highlight key events to colleagues and friends.

Improved speaker profiles

Speaker profiles now include a list of all sessions they host at the event. This enhancement provides attendees with a quick and easy way to see and follow the sessions of their favorite speakers throughout the event.

Eventee speaks new languages

We’re expanding our language support! Attendee apps are now available in 13 languages - newly Polish and simplified Chinese.

🎉 Other things we are excited about

  • We will soon migrate from eventee.co to eventee.com.
  • See the new green bubble in the bottom right corner of your administration? From now on, you can view our product roadmap and keep up with the latest news and updates here. There is also chat support and help center to ensure you are confident in using Eventee with all your questions answered.
  • Eventee was featured in the Skift Meetings Event Tech Almanac 2024 - an ultimate guide to the latest trends and insights in event technology! Download the full report and look inside the comprehensive event tech landscape.
