"Weaving a Perfect Fit between Past & Present" is the theme of the 94th annual Congress of the International Wool Textile Organisation. In 2025 we gather in Lille in northern France, where the Hauts-de-France region boasts a thriving technical textiles cluster around Lille, Roubaix, and Tourcoing. Many companies in the region have deep roots in traditional textile production, reflecting the region's historical expertise in flax, wool, and lace. During our three days together, we'll explore the exciting challenges and opportunities facing the wool industry, working together to shape a vibrant future for wool. Get ready for dynamic working groups, insightful presentations from a diverse range of industry leaders, and a chance to connect with fellow enthusiasts. IWTO Congress 2025

Weaving a perfect fit between past and present, Lille, France, will be the venue for the 94th IWTO Congress, 20-22 May, 2025. This historic city, steeped in a rich textile history, will provide a fitting backdrop for wool industry leaders and enthusiasts to gather.

Working group and committee meetings take place 19 May. On Friday May 23rd there will be an optional industry visit to Paris.

Our venue is the Palais de la Bourse at the CCI de Lille, on the Place de Théâtre, one of the landmarks of Lille’s city centre.
