About
The Filipino American History Month Celebration 2026 honors the achievements, culture, and contributions of the Filipino community in Santa Clara County. Organized by the Santa Clara County Filipino-American Employees Group, and held in partnership with the Office of District 2 Supervisor Betty Duong, this year’s celebration focuses on “Filipino Excellence in Health Care and Technology.”
This event brings together professionals, community members, local organizations, and County partners for an evening of learning, connection, and cultural pride. Attendees can look forward to a dynamic panel discussion featuring leaders in health care and technology, cultural performances, networking opportunities, and light refreshments.
A highlight of this year’s celebration is the presence of many community organizations and County agencies hosting tables onsite. This provides a unique opportunity for attendees to meet local groups, learn about services, explore volunteer and engagement opportunities, and build meaningful connections.
The program also includes expected keynote remarks from the Philippine Consulate General Office in San Francisco, offering an important perspective on community partnership and Filipino representation.
This free public event invites everyone to come together, celebrate Filipino heritage, and recognize the ongoing impact of Filipino professionals and community organizations throughout Santa Clara County.
